The Mekong Discovery, Lotus Cruises' newest boutique ship, hosts 37 guests in 19 elegant suites with floor-to-ceiling windows and luxurious amenities. With nearly 1:1 service, enjoy a seamless journey from Ho Chi Minh City through the Mekong Delta to Siem Reap, exploring floating villages and vibrant Cambodian culture. Our crew of 32 ensures every moment of your journey is filled with warmth and attentive care. You’ll enjoy fine Asian and international cuisine, relax in the cozy lounge, and soak up the views from the sundeck, complete with a pool and comfortable loungers. Our ship was uniquely designed with a low draft for the most convenient and seamless journey. Departing directly from the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong Discovery takes you on a peaceful and scenic journey through the Saigon River to the Mekong Delta. During high water season, the ship can cruise through Tonle Sap Lake to Siem Reap, where you'll get to experience the unique culture of floating fishing villages in the area and take in the priceless views of Cambodian daily life.

The Suites

Prestige Suite

Located on the Upper Deck, the Prestige Suites offer 603 square feet (56 square meters) of luxury with a private balcony, spa tub, and daily butler service, ensuring stunning views and unmatched comfort.

Signature Suite

Located at the front of the Upper Deck, the Signature Suites offer 299 square feet (28 square meters) of comfort with a French-style balcony for breathtaking sunrise or sunset views.

Vista Suite

Located mid-ship on the Main Deck, the Vista Suites offer 299 square feet (28 square meters) of tranquility with a French-style balcony for stunning views.

Vista Single Suite

Located at the bow of the Main Deck, the Vista Single Suite with 247 square feet (23 square meters) is perfect for solo travelers, offering a cozy space with a French-style balcony and stunning views of the Mekong River.

Onboard facilities

Onboard the Mekong Discovery, try your hand at a round of mini-golf on the Observation Deck, a great place to relax and enjoy some light fun. The running track offers stunning views of the river, making it the perfect spot to exercise while taking in the scenery. After being active, you can unwind in the warm jacuzzi, where the soothing water helps relieve stress, allowing you to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Restaurant, Bar and Lounge

In a sleek Saigon Lounge and bar with a tranquil atmosphere, offering a diverse selection of cocktails and spirits crafted by professional bartenders, relax and linger over a weekend afternoon or enjoy a late-night cocktail.
