ITINERARY
Day 1 Phnom Penh
In the afternoon, guests will board the Mekong Navigator cruise and settle into their well-appointed cabin or suite. As evening falls, guests will attend the welcome party, a safety briefing, meet the crew, and enjoy a welcome dinner at the Le Marche restaurant.
Day 2 Opopel Village , Wat Roka Kaong, Phnom Penh
In the morning, guests will visit the Wat Roka Kaong temple.
In the afternoon, they will explore the charming Opopel village, where traditional Khmer stilt houses line the riverbanks. Guests will also have the opportunity to visit a local school, offering a glimpse into the simple and unique culture of the area’s inhabitants.
Day 3 Phnom Penh
In the morning, guests will visit the poignant Choeung Ek Killing Fields and the Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21), particularly marking the atrocities committed by the Khmer Rouge. This powerful experience offers an invaluable opportunity to reflect on Cambodia’s past and the resilience of its people.
In the afternoon, guests will have free time to discover the lively charm of Phnom Penh, where they can explore bustling local markets, savor authentic Cambodian cuisine, and shop for one-of-a-kind souvenirs.
Day 4 Crossing the Vietnam border to Tan Chau town, and visiting the Tra Su Melaleuca Forest
On the cruise, guests will be captivated by the changing scenery as we cross the Vietnam border and arrive in Tan Chau. Continuing the journey, guests will board a traditional wooden sampan to explore the peaceful Tra Su Cajuput Forest, a natural reserve where they can immerse themselves in the serene atmosphere of quiet canals, listen to the songs of birds, and enjoy the tranquility of the Mekong Delta.
Day 5 Long Thuan province, Gieng island
Here, guests will have the unique opportunity to learn about the traditional lion dance craft,which has been preserved and passed down through generations in Long Thuận province, along with vibrant traditional lion dances. Afterward, guests will board a rickshaw to explore Cu Lao Gieng, enjoy fresh, delicious fruit, and witness an impressive traditional martial arts performance.
Day 6 Lach market, Ben Tre province
In the morning, guests will immerse themselves in the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside, exploring narrow canals, admiring the lush water coconut trees and mangrove forests laden with fruit. Afterward, guests will discover the secret behind the making of delicious coconut candies at a traditional workshop. Finally, they will take a leisurely stroll through the lush orchards and enjoy a variety of tropical fruits.
In the afternoon, guests will visit Lach market, a village renowned for its handmade plant pots. Here, they will observe the entire process—from mold-making to the creation of the finished products—while appreciating the skill and artistry of the local craftsmen. Day 7 Mỹ Tho city – Sài Gòn
In the morning, the cruise will journey to My Tho, where guests can unwind and take in the breathtaking sunset over the river.
